What is DEMONTHON?
DemonTHON is a year-long fundraising organization, benefiting Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago that culminates in a student-run Dance Marathon every spring. Throughout the duration of the year, DemonTHON hosts events on campus and throughout the City of Chicago that engage students at DePaul University and families that are being treated at Lurie Children’s Hospital.
HOW DO WE RAISE FUNDS?
As a year-round fundraising organization, DemonTHON participants, on all levels, utilize the same fundraising methods. Canning, being our most popular fundraising technique, is where participants don our signature neon vests and go around to heavily-traveled areas in neighborhoods asking for donations. Every participant also has their own goal in their Donor Drive with which they can ask friends and family for donations both online and offline.
