The Big Event
Every spring, DemonTHON comes alive with The Big Event — a 12-hour celebration of DePaul students’ year-long fundraising efforts for Lurie’s Children’s Hospital. It’s a day filled with dancing, performances, games, and nonstop energy, but at its heart is something even more powerful: the chance to meet and connect with the miracle families who inspire everything we do.

What We Do
Throughout the day, students stand and dance in honor of the strength and courage of these families, while hearing their stories and celebrating their resilience. Special guests and student performers keep the excitement high, and each hour brings new activities that unite our campus community in joy and purpose. The Big Event is more than a tradition- it’s a reminder of the impact we can make together.
